Due to the slowing down of the economy in the middle of 2008, Corey Ribotsky’s advice was sought- after by Entrepreneur magazine on the issue of investing in PIPES, private investments in public equities. According to the July, 2008 issue of “Entrepreneur Magazine”, entitled “Terms of Endearment”, and transactions in PIPES have become more mainstream as the economy in general is slowing down. But Ribotsky, the managing member of The NIR Group advises caution when proceeding with investments of this genre.

Corey Ribotsky Exec Producer of 'American Cannibal:The Road to Reality'
Corey Ribotsky, head portfolio manager of the NIR Group out of Roslyn, NY, has branched out into the glittery world of movie making. He is one of the executive producers of the highly acclaimed 2007 film “American Cannibal.” This documentary was begun in 2004 when the filmmakers set into motion the production of a reality-TV show in order to explore all the issues involved in creating this unique, modern phenomenon. But this is not just another reality-TV show, but the “ultimate, ultimate” reality-TV show.
Filmmakers Perry Grebin and Michael Nigro spent over two and a half years on this project in order to demonstrate the American insatiable appetite for entertainment and expose the unlimited hunger Americans have for their “celebrity-driven” culture. This documentary is a “must-see” for anyone interested in understanding current trends in American society and culture.

Sunrise Day Camp, Corey Ribotsky, and the NIR Group
The NIR Group of Roslyn, New York, is dedicated to several important philanthropic endeavors which improve the community in which we all live. Among these organizations is the Sunrise Day Camp located on the border between Suffolk and Nassau Counties on Long Island, New York.
This camp is unique in the United States as the only day camp which is solely dedicated to children with cancer. After a day of fun and enriching activities the children go home to the safety and security of their families.
Especially designed for children ages 3-16 to meet their emotional, social, physical and recreational needs, Sunrise Day Camp is amazingly offered to these children for absolutely no fee or tuition for all children under treatment for cancer and/or related ailments, with no regard to religion or other religious or national affiliation.
